Isaac is a week old today… is that a “birthday” to celebrate? Either way, we are celebrating him like it’s our job!

Last night was a good night.

– His little lungs are still progressing. The nurse is hoping to ween him down a little slowly today.
– He’s taking his feedings by bottle! It tuckers him out, but he’s doing it and sleeping soundly between.
– No heart rate drops since yesterday… it is believed that these were from a reflux issue and his stomach not knowing what to do with the food. His stomach is apparently now knowing what to do.
– He’s curled up under a little Notre Dame blanket that the nurses are sending home with us. Go Irish!

He’s progressing. GOD is still good!!!
