Not much new to report since yesterday. The nurse today did take Isaac off the HI-FLOW this morning and put him onto the regular nasal cannula. He’s still taking most of his feedings from bottle. Angie just finished giving him his 2:30 feeding where he took 32 of 44 cc’s.
Side note: cc’s & ml’s are the same. I did not know this.
His parents:
Angie and I are pretty worn out today. My mom and dad came up to South Bend yesterday and took us to lunch then to dinner. It was nice to see some familiar faces and talk about some things besides the NICU for a few hours. We also spent some time last night talking to Steve & Cindy, Isaac’s new Michigan grandparents. They’re great people. Great to talk to. Great to be around. We heard a lot of great stories about people we all know and they showed us how to use their laundry facilities. They make us feel at home … away from home.
All in all, things are good. We’re just tired and ready to get back to normal life.
Keep praying for us.
