So, there are times in your life where you have to let things go.

Blogging has been one of those things for me.

I’m not that interesting.
Every now and again I think I have something interesting or profound to say and many times, if I’m honest, I’m just ripping off something else that someone else said more eloquently before.

“Why muddy the waters?” I asked myself and I let my blog go.

We went through a busy season too as Angie finished her master’s degree in library science over the last 2 years. In a lot of ways, it’s been nuts.

While all that was going on, my body decided to freak out and start having panic attacks. 3 to date in 9 months. I’m not sure what the trigger is… probably stress (I’m finding out that there’s a genetic quirk on my mother’s side making the men susceptible to stress & anxiety related issues… Happy 30th Birthday to me).

And, on top of all of that, we were in the adoption pool again. Standing in the shallow end waiting to get the call that threw us into the deep end to tread along like all our friends that seemingly so easily have kids.

Needless to say, it’s been a CRAZY year.

But, then every now and then, something comes along that you want to share. So, here’s one of my newest ventures.

After 15 months of waiting we were blessed with a new addition to our family.

This is Eloise Ann.
She my daughter.

And, like I did with Isaac, I’ll be shooting another 365 days of photography and Ella is my subject.
