When Isaac was born, we decided to do a photo-a-day blog of his first year and then bind all the pictures together into a book for his birth parents.
We decided to do the same when Ella was born.
There are some other nice benefits.
We can track their growth.
Our families that live out of the area can see them grow and know what’s going on.
Anyone who stumbles upon the blogs is blessed to see such beautiful children…
And the list goes on.

But, it’s a LOT of work.
And, going from 1 child to 2 is a LOT of work.
I don’t think the change from no kids to one kids was as hard.
Probably, because we were playing zone defense.
Now we’re on man to man.
Maybe that’s why I like baseball so much.
At the most it’s 9 to 4.
Even better odds than zone.

Yesterday, I caught up the entire month of May to date.
22 days I had been taking pictures and not having time to post them.
We’re going on vacation in a few weeks and we’re going to have a ton of pictures rolling in from that.
So, I figured it was time to get reset into the process again.
It’s a lot of work.
But it’s worth it.

Which is what I think GOD must think about me.
That I’m a lot of work.
But, I’m worth it.

I hope that someday Isaac and Ella can look back at these books of photos, or these blogs, or what ever form of archiving we’re doing in 30 years…
And they’ll know that I feel that for them.
Just like GOD feels for all of us.
That even throw all the work…
They’re still worth it.
