348 hours ago, I was covered in paint with a handful of preschool and kindergarten kids.

348 hours ago, I got the phone call that he was going to be born on May 6.

Now, nearly 1600 miles later, 1000 miles over the need for an oil change, 13 nights away from home, one night in a hospital room, and more emotionally exhausted than I’ve ever been; we’re home … with Isaac.  My parents said that Charlie had been acting funny the last few days and kept dropping his toys by the cradle.  How does a dog know that’s what’s changing?  So, Isaac and Charlie met.  It was the beginning of a long, playful relationship.

Thank you for all the prayers.  To say that they were felt would be a VAST understatement.

The nurses of the St. Joseph RMC in South Bend NICU were fantastic.
Without the love and prayers from so many people, I’m convinced that we’d still be in South Bend.

We’ve always believed that GOD wanted to bless us.
The last year or so, have at times felt very to the contrary.
It wasn’t GOD not wanting to, it was us not always having enough faith.
Then we were chosen.
Then 348 hours happened.
We were blessed with this little boy.
Isaac seemed like the perfect name.

A ton has happened in 348 hours.

Thanks again for the prayers.  We cherish each one!
