@kristin_madeja tweeted this video to me last night.
I’ve watched it about 50 times since.
It’s incredible.
WHO MAKES YOU LOOK COOL?
If you want to look cool… call Dan & Brooke from brandphotodesign.com. They did some pictures for Crosspoint on our 4th Anniversary. These pretty much sum up how awesome my job is.

There’s a story in Luke 14 where Jesus gives us this amazing picture of grace. He’s telling a story saying that GOD is like a rich man that’s throwing a party for all of his friends and as the party gets closer and closer, people start backing out. One guy says he has to work. […]

I’ve been toying with the idea of a personal brand/logo/icon for awhile now. I think that the TeamCoco logo is possibly one of the most ingenious marketing pieces I’ve seen in a long time. So, in honor of my affection for good art… and not having a good idea of my own… I give you the current TeamCoco inspired “PJ” brand. Imitation is highest form of flattery, right?
ADDICTIONS & THE NEW RIG//
To all you gear-heads out there:
I did it.
I pulled the trigger.
I made the switch.
Here’s the story. So, about 7 years about next month I was offered and took my first worship leading position. At the time I knew all of 3 chords on the guitar. I could barely remember my basic chords on the piano from the lessons I took as a kid. But, I could play bass. And, I had a little bit of passion. Honestly, it was a pretty risky move for the church that hired me to give me the job.
So, I bought an acoustic guitar. Angie hasn’t ever admitted to this next thing I’m going to say, but it’s her fault that I got so addicted to music & gear. After I accepted that job, we made the circuit of all the guitar stores in Indy. She told me I needed to get a good acoustic if I was going to be using it for my job. I argued with her (that’s the part she doesn’t remember) and tried to tell her I could borrow one from a friend for awhile. But, she insisted (she doesn’t remember that either). So, WE (key word) bought my Takamine. She’s a beaut! Stil have her. Still lover her! (Angie & the guitar)…

Back in November, I moved Isaac’s blog to a section of my blog for “convenience.” Angie wasn’t really sure what she thought about it, and then I got called out on not having done anything with mine or his blogs since then. So, we’re back at it…
